Meet Jesse
During his conversion to the Catholic faith, Jesse picked up a rosary from a local parish. More often than not, he'd pull it out of his pocket to pray and the crucifix would be missing. He couldn't find a durable one without big shipping fees, so he thought, "I wonder if I could make one."
With years of finishing carpentry behind him, he started making rosaries and crucifixes for friends, family and himself. It was the work he'd always wished he could do.
Today he makes every piece by hand from our family home in Victoria, BC, and prays to St. Joseph the Worker before he begins each day.
Solace means comfort in a time of sadness. For Jesse, running rosary beads through his fingers and gazing at a crucifix are simple, real things that bring that comfort. We hope our pieces bring the same to you.
